You are currently viewing The Outpost Cast Talks Season 3 Details!

Season 3 of fantasy series, The Outpost premieres tomorrow on The CW. The Outpost is one of the few TV shows whose filming schedule wasn’t severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic this year and the cast was grateful for that.

With so many shows being pushed back to 2021 instead of their usual fall premieres, it may be time to check out something new like this series!

The Outpost follows Talon (Jessica Green), the lone survivor of a race called ‘Blackbloods’. Talon travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of the civilized world, as she tracks the killers of her family. On her journey to this outpost, Talon discovers she possesses a mysterious supernatural power that she must learn to control in order to save herself, and defend the world against a fanatical religious dictator.

StarShine caught up via Zoom with cast members Jake Stormoen (Garrett), Imogen Waterhouse (Gwynn), and Anand Desai-Barochia (Janzo) just as filming wrapped on season 3.  Jessica Green was unable to join due to a scheduling conflict but answered questions for us separately.

The interview is an exclusive for StarShine’s fall 2020 issue available in print on Blurb and digitally on the Magzter newstand app.

During our chat, Imogen Waterhouse says season 3 feels a bit “darker” than the previous seasons. Co-star Jake Stormoen agreed. “I don’t know if the writing got darker or if all of us with 2020, if it just started to feel darker as well,” explains Jake. “I’m actually really curious whether or not viewers will find that as well.”

The interview also talked about Imogen’s foray into directing this season and Jake and Anand Desai-Barochia’s behind the scenes and onscreen banter.
