StarShine Stars Spotlight:
Some of our favorite StarShine Stars have released new music recently and we made sure to include them in the playlist, but here’s some more insight to these new tracks!
Jacquie Roar – “Other Side”
Our July cover star keeps pumping out awesome tracks consistently and based on what her die-hard fans have been commenting to us on our Instagram, there’s plenty more to come!
This month, Jacquie released “Other Side”, an emotional ballad about a toxic relationship. Jacquie’s vocals and lyrics never disappoint, and this one’s extra personal.
“About eight or nine years ago, I was with someone who almost ruined my life. It was a long path of recovery, and now I want to tell my story to help others. This song is for anyone who has been in, or is currently in, the grip of a narcissist, or anyone facing the pain of an extremely toxic partner. Here’s your sign to leave. Male or female, you are worthy of love, and you are worthy of happiness. I found mine on the ‘Other Side.’” – Jacquie Roar
3Quency – “Top Down”
Brianna, Wennely, and Nori have released their first original single, which they teased at during our August interview/podcast!
Produced by Tommy Brown, “Top Down” is reminiscent of Destiny’s Child with 3-part harmonies, a killer dance routine that’s bound to be all over TikTok, and fun lyrics — that were co-written by 3Quency – that get stuck in your head.
Recently, the group was signed to Columbia Records, walked the red carpet at the MTV VMAs, and have announced they will be going on tour soon!
