He’s baaack! The episode everyone has been waiting for is finally here. Kai Parker (Chris Wood), the best villain in The Vampire Diaries universe will be on tonight’s episode of Legacies.
This episode focuses solely on the prison world Alaric (Matthew Davis), Josie (Kaylee Bryant), and Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) are stuck in, along with evil Uncle Kai, Sebastian (Thomas Doherty), and three former Salvatore students. Apparently, if you cause enough trouble at the Salvatore School, Alaric banishes you to a prison world. That form of punishment not only surprised Josie but me as well.
Alaric has always seemed like a fair disciplinarian and granted, he had good reason, but it seems harsh. Back in the day when Stefan would go on ripper binges, the gang locked him up in the cellar, rationed his blood intake, weakened him with vervain, and would have heart-to-hearts with him to turn his humanity back on … I guess Alaric has seen too much in his day to resort to intervention tactics anymore. Now Alaric is forced to confront those students and obviously they’re not too pleased.

While Lizzie is off on a fairytale fantasy with beautiful, but sneaky (you’ll see what I mean) Sebastian, Josie gets to know her uncle better. Their mutual quest to figure a way out of the prison world has them trying to outsmart one another.
Other than a beard, Kai hasn’t changed much. He is still the villain we love to hate complete with ’90s references and snarky comments. I have a feeling the rest of the season is going to be full-throttle and I can’t wait!
